My Heart Needs to be where You are.
My heart needs to be where you are, being so far at times, my life takes a toll on my soul, My heart needs to be where you are,somethings the pain makes me think of no tomorrow. But your love leads me through the trials and the sorrow, love flows out of the darkness as I take your hand, you help me take a stand. My Heart needs to be where you are, take my heart Lord, keep me strong,keep me from all wrong, keep your love flowing as I go through my days. I need my heart to be where you are, at times you seem so far, just holding onto the words you speak, keeps my heart where you are. ©Betty Bolden 4-8-05
We all need a pure heart to come before the Lord's Throne.
Create In Me A Pure Heart

- Psalm 51:10-12
Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Lord, I Cry Unto Thee
- Psalm 141:1-2
Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me;
give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense;
and the lifting of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Prayer for Tolerance
- Voltaire (18th Century)
O! Thou God of all beings, of all worlds, and of all times,
We pray, that the little differences in our clothes,
in our inadequate languages,
in our ridiculous customs,
in our imperfect laws,
in our illogical opinions,
in our ranks and conditions which
are so disproportionately important to us
and so meaningless to you,
that these small variations
that distinguish those atoms that we call men,
one from another,
may not be signals of hatred and persecution
