Psalm 71

1. In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame.

2. Rescue me and deliver me in your righteousness;
turn your ear to me and save me.

3. Be my rock of refuge,
to which I can always go; give the command to save me,
for you are my rock and my fortress.

4. Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked,
from the grasp of evil and cruel men.

5. For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD,
my confidence since my youth.

6. From birth I have relied on you;
you brought me forth from my mother's womb.
I will ever praise you.

The Beauty you give with each touch of your hand
keeps me waking to deeply understand
that within me is your kingdom within
your love so pure, so true and so kind
keeps me standing in a lovely line
to hope your return is soon and alive
so we can be together is truely divine.

I love to see your work in me
it keeps me standing and so blessed
I don't understand all the rest
the trials the storms you say will come
but your here and keeping me true
I love your ways so deep within
how wonderful you are so precious inside
your love takes hold and your truely divine.

O Lord, I pray that you will grow in strength
Within this heart where you are dwelling now.
And as you gain in power day-by-day,
I pray the evil spirits all will leave.
In Jesus' holy name I pray, Amen.
