First of all, this part about mediums and more
lets us know that our Lord is totally against us
having anything to do with it,He prefers us to
stop it and spread His word so others will know!
Satan and his fallen angels have tried to thwart the
work of God since the beginning of time.

They thwarted her plans.
To oppose and defeat the efforts, plans, or ambitions of.
Christians have always run up against those who attempt
to imitate God by counterfeiting His power.
Acts 13
6.They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos.
There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus,
7.who was an attendant of the proconsul,
Sergius Paulus.
The proconsul, an intelligent man,
sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God.
8.But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed
them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith.
We hear from our Lord in Deuteronomy 18:8-14
Detestable Practices
9. When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you,
do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there.
10. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in [1] the fire,
who practices divination or sorcery,
interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,
11. or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.
12. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD ,
and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God
will drive out those nations before you.
13. You must be blameless before the LORD your God.
The Prophet
14. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination.
But as for you,
the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.
Our culture today has become increasingly interested in "pop"
occult phenomena,kids as well as adult experiment with tarot
cards and Ouija boards.
Many read their horoscopes"just to see what they say."
Others watch tv shows such as Beyond in which mediums,
also called necromancy's(definition below)profess to be able
to talk with their clients deceased relatives.
Necromancy
The practice of supposedly communicating with
the spirits of the dead in order to predict the future.
Black magic; sorcery.
Magic qualities.
Example:King Saul's clandestine meeting
with the witch of Endor in the book of 1 Samuel.
Chapter 28 in 1 Samuel.
Our Lord strictly prohibits such activities.
Forms of the occult represent satan and his influence
rather than God and His desires.
All these things,witchcraft,spiritism,and other occult
activities,like Ouija boards,dealing with phycics,consulting
necromancy,or any attempt to contact spirits(demons)can
lead to extremely serious consequences.
I will not boast in anything,
no gifts,no power,no wisdom,
But I will boast in Jesus Christ,
His death and Resurrection.
What should I gain from His reward,
I cannot give a answer,
But this I know with all my heart,
His wounds have paid my ransom.
Oh LORD,HEAR MY PRAYER:
Today help us to see Your ways,
Help us to spread Your word,
Protect our minds and our hearts,
Help us to know that You are near,
show me today Lord,
Your hand in my life,
Teach me Your ways,
take control of my life,
I adore Thee,For You have set me free.
